I got to watch the New Year's fireworks a few meters from Sheraton Hotel, Kampala. I won't forget this one because we were late and didn't even think we would get a great spot to watch them, because of the crazy traffic at that time.

My Holiday, Part 1: Street Photography

So, i did a lot of street photography while i was back home. The more i explore, the more i love it. One of the most beautiful things about street photography, is that you can showcase the beauty of a place, but at the same time, you never know what to expect from the people in that area at the moment. So, you can capture the most beautiful moment, unexpectedly.

Everything about this shot was and is just perfect, to me. Not much is going on in it, but i guess there is beauty in simplicity. Love(d) all the colours in it, the old cream car parked by the handicap spot, the setup of the flats, the little tree by the bottom right.

It's raining right now, but at least the sun was out in its full glory this morning and a few hours of the afternoon.
